Not sure if I'm supposed to add this at the beginning or what? It's a double post but seems to me we are supposed to add our entries on the first thread. D'uh, I give up!:banghead

Anyway, here's my entry, Not a winning entry but it's good for a chuckle. (with sound)

Brilliant name for the sack Vic.

By your thumbs I thought you were doing boxing or something along the likes.

(do they even have boxing in the olympics?)

Good luck

Was just drawing randomly on the character sheet, and yes they do have boxing in the big O. Remember Sugar Ray Leonard in Montreal? Brilliant and fast as lightning!

They have baseball too. Rheal Cormier, a local guy who pitched for the majors, is representing Canada this year! Go Canada! Oh, and is it just me or does Bejing sound like the noise you hear when a guy doesn't quite clear his jewels during the pole volt?

(Had to download the file rather than view it directly, but that worked fine.)

VERY NICE!

vic,

I`ve seen you before animating things.. and I can say that this is way below your abillities, no offense. Why dont you try sketch the movement as you do always.. to feel the movement, maybe watch some reference movies or something.. I remember the animation you did for the collab, with the sounds.. the zombie one.. it was such a cool piece of work.. all the movements and effects... just amazing work.. and now I cant see that great stuff again.. use your tablet:) rough lines are better then this colored versions. But keep the good work up!:)

Um, thanks for the critique, but I think you may have me mixed up with someone else. I agree, my work's always been below average as far as good animation is concerned, but I have no clue as to what collab you're referring to? I never worked on a collab nor have I animated any zombies, lol.

Again, thanks for the input though.

This is the topic.. http://www.animationforum.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3856&highlight=stop

haha
sorry, but do what I said before, try sketch the motion before to feel the movements and the whole animation :)

OIC. Yeah, Pixlemark is darn good. As far as sketching, I have a million sketches before I ink them, I just didn't post any but I appreciate your input. I really should sketch more.:D

LOL! Modest? I have the only entry in the flour sack challenge that looks nothing like a flour sack! Looks more like the offspring of a jellybean and an alien! :banghead Thanks for the vote of confidence though.:D:D

Good progress so far; I especially like the character sheet (and the name). :D Though for some reason, your initial video downloads aren't working for me, but they seem to be working fine for everyone else, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Hopefully I can just catch the next animation-in-progress. :)
