Is there any fairly simple way to flip frames in Flash MX 2004?

Case in point: character walks off screen center stage to left (all keyframes, no motion tweens), needs to walk back on screen left to center stage.

Before I start manually flipping every single layer of the character and manually reversing everything, is there an easier way to do it?

My animation teacher was talking about using the Timeline Transform, but my version of Flash doesn't have that.

Your version of Flash is 5 years old now. There have been a lot of changes since then. You are unfortunately going to have to flip all the drawings. This is why storyboarding/planning is the most important thing in animation. :)

it's not a big bother to copy all the frames into a new symobl and flip that symbol

I've yet to get into really beefy animations. As was just stated it may easier to just take those frames and add them to a new object. Then I think you can just use a motion tween.
