Hello! I'm Nate - this is my first post in the forums.

A few friends and I have created a pilot and pitch for a potential Science-Fiction Sitcom or Web Toon Episodic shorts. We have a script for the pilot completed and a decent number of episode ideas. The show would be similar to the Star Trek / Firefly / Futurama genre in that it follows the crew of a starship called The Jefferson. The comedy is similar to that of The Simpsons/South Park/Family Guy, which consists of a lot of word play, irony, and references to other science fiction TV shows, movies and literature. Visually we would like include a lot of "zany" cartoon humor, similar to the styles of Tex Avery or Looney Tunes.

We are about to start experimenting with the Pilot in Toon Boom - which at first glance doesn't seem extraordinarily complicated. However we are a comedy team whose background is primarily in screenwriting, comedy, and acting. I've never completed a cartoon before but have a lot of good ideas. We are looking for animators who would like to help contribute to the project or artists that would be willing to submit 2d character models or backgrounds. If and when the show makes any money, either of advertising or whatever you will be entitled to any profits the show makes.

If you're interested or would like to discuss this further email me at nzerbib@gmail.com or send me a direct message! I'd also be more than happy to email the script to anyone who would like to take a look at it - we like to think it is pretty funny, but there are definitely areas that could use work, and all constructive criticism is welcomed!!!!

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from everyone in the forums!

Nate
