well hello all, im here to win the prize! just kidding, i've seen the competition, but i still said 'why de the hell not?', chances are you couldn't even send the book where i live.
Entry no.1: http://img104.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bounce1ux.swf

There are alot of details i missed or chose not to add, because i don't know if it would qualify as a true "boucing ball". Tell me if another version would be better.
and if all goes well, by tommorow or so i'll be posting the flag. Good luck for me!

Timing is way too slow for a bowling ball bounce. IT floats when it drops. keep practicing

Very nice composition Kame. I do have to agree with noob here and say that the loop start&end are a little too obvious. Try to make is so we don't know when it the loop repeats. Overall, great work.

not bad, not bad, im still not much on the curves, so ill leave that for someone else, but on the drop into the tube, there's a little TOO much aticipation, like it paused and specifically aimed itslef into the tube

Nice shot!:) Ignoring the last arc into the tube, I thought that the animation itself was very fluid and the squash/stretch was more natural than anything I've come up with. Maybe the peak of the arc is too slow...(?). I don't know how you feel, but I am finding it very difficult to get a natural bounce without jittery animation. This is a good exersize, as it is more difficult than it would appear!

tbh i dont see any improvement sorry... its still aiming itself into the end hole thingy... and throughtout the animation the ball kinda changes shape i think its when it bounces just looks a lil' odd

i won't put it as harshly, but yeh i think the ball looks as if its being sucked in by the pipe, instead of just bouncing into it.

this what i've been saying in other threads, just focus on making the ball bounce, all this extra stuff is not what where looking for,its too early for that.
