sounds like fun.
But really I shouldn't be looking in this section, cause I'm not good enough to take part in a big project like that.
but I really hope you'll get someone to help you.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of it. :)

Not good enough, eh? If you've ever drawn an anime character please email it to me. Never think that way. How do you suppose you'll get better? And just to let ya know, everyone who is working on this project is somewhat new to animation.

If you just don't want to do it, thats fine. But if you want to help, please send me a few of your pics!

Thanks,

-Chris

I think Robber really meant, "I wish!" The poor kid wants to animate a project so bad he can taste it.

Don't mind the grumpy ogre Robber.:D :D :D :D

Noob, don't discourage the youngins. They're our future animation program developers.;) :D

Sap, it will take a long time for a project like this to become a reality. The more content you have , the more interest it will spark.

You already have a nice story/plot. Start working on some character designs as well as some environments. Once you have some visual concepts down, I'm sure people will be more interested.

Hey there Sapphire,
Thanks for sharing your story with us. Some animators online that I speak to get requests all the time from people to join projects or animate scripts. It seems quite a tricky area because Animators are usually very keen to either work on there own projects or work with people who are better than them so as to improve themselves.
The few times I know of where scripts have been taken onboard by good animators is usually due to a long lasting relationship the script writer has built up with the animator (and often acts really more as a collaboration rather than the script writer trying to dictate the narrative to the animator). I think that in order to entice animators from the web to take up such a project you'd either need good people working on the project to begin with or really a very special screenplay that will incite a lot of interest. At the moment your idea reads a bit to much like a fan fiction novel in that it seems to be recycling a lot of clichés that are particularly well known to animators already (such as the anime action film).

Hope that is of some help and wish you the best in finding someone to take up the project.

Thank you, exactly my thoughts. I chose to be more arrogant though. :D

We've put this movie project on hold and are adapting it into a manga.

Also, our funding was pulled by our sponser so we couldn't continue it.

But, we were planning to go straight into production on a 3D fantasy/Adventure film right after Corin, so it's alright. The script is almost complete and we're fixing to begin modeling and rigging...so this thread can be deleted, please...

Yes, I'm still very interested. The story has changed quite a bit and is more of a fantasy-anime.

I'll explain when I talk to you a little more through e-mail.
