I tried it a year qago and couldn;t get into it. Gave it another shot and am enjoying it. Just wondering if anyone from here plays it and if so on what server.

Everquest has a monthly fee as well rober. Most of those type of game do.

Yeah, it;s a good game. I play it once in a while, but it's more instanced and doesnt have that community feeling to it such as WoW or EQ. But there is no monthly fee, so you can't go wrong there.

I've read a few stories on the net on how people become so attached to WoW they forget about what the out doors look like :rolleyes: . I find MMO's harder than trying to raise a baby :eek: .

Could be, I got hooked on EQ a few years ago and played religiously everyday. Those games are kind of like these forums, hard to stay away from. I have since learned how to manage my time.

haha, i made LOADS of friends on mmorpgs im quite the online gamer and im really into mmorpgs :D

I think what Sangs is saying is that MMOPRG's have you sit in front of the PC for days and you never goout to talk to real people. I've been there, I know, haha.

It feels social but in reality is very anit-social. Never the less, it's tons of fun.

Take away the social element, and the gameplay is really bland, boring, and repetitive.

I don't know if I'd have a better time if I interacted with other people while going through with that bland, boring, repetitive gameplay for 9.99$ a month, because I'm not a very social person.

But I understand what you are saying... Except it's no different than other video games, except for the fact that it is easier to devote more constant hours towards it (for what reason I have yet to find).
