Default CD 49: Dog Days of Summer

NOOB came to me in a dream and said "JK! I need you to go make a new CD thread for me!" Then he went back to fighting the radioactive hamsters.

Or maybe I just thought it was time there was a new entry and grew impatient. Either way.

The topic for this go around is Dog Days of Summer!

Deadline will be August 19th at 11:59 PM and not a SECOND LATER. (Or, you know, whenever you finish.)

Go go go!

Thanks JK! We really need to get this back to a weekly thing...

Just for an extra bit of inspiration... did you know that the term "dog days" refers to the star Sirius (aka the "Dog Star"), because in ancient times it was seen just above the horizon at sunrise along with the sun and believed to have caused the excessive heat in the northern hemisphere summertime. This doesn't happen now because of the precession of the axes.

I also drew a blank Riki... I don't think dead, just need an easier one to get it going again...

how about we all draw Mickey.... lol

but seriously how about

DEADLY DUO
a pair of characters? they can be best friends or even enemies in any dynamic pose like on a dvd cover...

painted or un-painted, rough or cleaned up.

dead line 1 week.

I guess the topic "Dog Days of Summer" didn't really seem to evoke a character per se, so something with more specific characteristics is needed... "Deadly Duo" sounds good, drawing multiple characters who are supposed to interact is good practice!
