Default How do YOU animate?

I personally have only been experimenting with symbols so far, but I would love to hear how other people tend to animate when they use Adobe Flash.

i use flash but i dont use symbols, i just use it basically as rendering device that i import my drawn frames into and put together. Im not really a vector type animator

Indeed, I've tried some frame by frame stuff. Only basic stick figures, pretty much. What really gets me is redrawing each frame, as well as coloring them.

Thanks for the info.

Makes you wonder how, say, animated series are made.
