Hey knothole, welcome to AF.

Im not sure if any one here will be able to answer this question. It's more of a production manager line of work , especailly when your talking about A-list voice actors. As far as animating goes, are you going to be animating this project yourself, or your trying to recruit animators to bring you ideas to life?

I POSTED THIS IN THE OTHER TOPIC AS WELL

its kinda funny but i just read a book on how to make it in the animation world

http://genedeitch.awn.com/index.php3?ltype=cover

well you need to find producers people who will fund your show, and if i knew where they were i would use them myself :P be warned tho, those producers will usually change your film alot
EXAMPLE from a book im reading

Quote:
A film writer, director, and producer were having lunch at a posh Hollywood restaurant. The writer ordered soup as a starter, and after the first couple of spoonfuls he exclaimed, "My God, this is the greatest soup I’ve ever tasted! He offered a spoonful to the director. "Taste this. It’s incredible!"

The director took one sip and his eyes rolled heavenward. "You’re right. This soup is ambrosia!" He took a few more spoonfuls and pushed the bowl to the producer. "You’ve gotta taste this. It is the soup of the century!"

The producer lifted a spoonful, took in the aroma, then rapturously downed two or three spoonfuls... "You boys are right. This is a magnificent soup. But I have an idea. Let us all pee in it, and make it even better!"

That sums it up. There will be plenty of peeing in your soup during your filmmaking career.
anyway if you need talented artists/animators, this forum is full of them

im not the best but i could help in anyway i can

also here http://www.aidb.com/ you can put up your job posting, or look for talent, probably find some grants too

Hmm, it does appear that attaining a producer will be costly as well as animators and other staff members constributing. Speaking of which, I am seeking talented and skillful animators who can successful and flawlessly emulate the style of the original Sonic the Hedgehog catoon that aired in 1993. The intent is to make the film consistant with the TV show, but i will allow subtle modifications as long as it maintains its integrity. Many thanks for the source link. I have alot to absorb about the animation film industry

I don't remember much about sonic, but I know he always gave me the munchies for chilly dogs. Weren't him and tales always running around looking for hot dogs.
