Thank you everyone and for your sweet comments. I haven't been able to paint for the last month , so I fired up painter yesterday and just let my mind free. I didn't control my hand at all and did no correction. Hand went wild and this was the outcome.

I must say it was the first stress free art piece I did.

Thank you once again.

Act 2 - 1 Hour Speed Paint.

I am not satisfied with this one but ohh well. These are good practice runs.

The atmosphere is nice though. I like the way you've rendered the subject matter to fade into the distance. Really adds a sense of depth to the piece.

Act 3: 1 Hour 30 Minutes.

I went over the time limit I set myself for this speed painting because I liked where it was going. I'm satisfied with it.

Understatement of the month. The paneling of the cockpit is fantastic. And those stars, No words. Truly makes me feel like I'm sitting there. I'm so jealous because you created this. Well done Terro. Keep up the 1hr paints.

Thanks Willy. We got to get together one of these days. I'm almost done with that e-commerce job , and I'll have some spare time.

Haven't posted any art in a while so here's todays image.

Sketched traditionally on paper and painted in Painter with some color correction in Photoshop .

Heres the initial sketch

I use 3 pencils for my sketching, blue for my perspective lines and grids, red for a rough sketch and regular pencil for the finish.

That is wonderful Greg.

That's the exact kind of enviroment and sense of atmosphere I've been trying to acheive in my stuff recently.

Do you think you could upload some of your talent and send it to me please?
Just in a .zip file would do!
