Default The Loomis Collection

Andrew Loomis probably has the most popular set of books for artists ever.sadly i hear they went out of print, but people have been uploading em everywhere.the one that is the most popular is *figure drawing for all its worth*

So i took the liberty of uploading all the books here at animationforum, all in PDF format

The Loomis Collection (153mb)

His stuff can also be seen here so u can get a taster of what u may be downloading.

www.saveloomis.org

edit: this will be removed within 4-5 days or less, get it while ya can.

Thank you for this.
I've downloaded them on CGTalk several weeks ago, very annoying to wait nearly one hour to download the next book.

So this is much better.

Meant to say this earlier but, YOU ARE AWESOME FOR HOSTING THIS!

I had a copy of some of these, but lost them in some uber crash ages ago and never got around to downloading them again. The fact that they're all here in one big zip instead of all over the place is fantastic!

Thank you sooooooo mucho!

Is there a version online, I seem to remember one referenced from conceptart.org, I think it might have been the saveloomis.com but I remember it being free and online.

I don't really have the bandwidth to download the linked file, and the link doesn't seem to work for me. Any ideas?

[EDIT]
Doh, keep forgetting to look at timestamps on the post, and the fact he said it would only be up for a few days... well question about the link stands heh.

We've since removed the file from our serve because of bandwith issues. It was only availabe for download for a month. I did see the loomis collection on conceptart as well, but can't seem to dig up the link.

I've found a site that contains three of his books, all on anatomy but it's a start. The link is found here:

[url="http://www.fineart.sk/index.php?cat=1"[/URL]

If someone sees a link to his books where he draws cartoons I'd be interested in a link, pm me or post it here. I found many of the P2P software programs have different loomis books, so people might try there if they're interested.

Found some on ThePirateBay.org --arrrg. They really should republish these books, because they are really good. i like the witty writing style of Loomis very much.
