Default pixel''s animation practice

Yeah! Finally made me own thread. Want to practice some fast animation stuff. Sloppy, but fun.

Did you animate this straight ahead?

Looks like you had fun with it, and there's no better way to learn timing than to screw around and see what comes from it.

EDC - Pretty much straight ahead. I did about 4 poses and a bunch of inbetweens. The bubbles were straight ahead. (I still cant figure out timing charts-I cant make the connection between graphs and animating!). This is as much practice as fun

NOOB! - Thanks for the compliment! It means a lot. Are you saying it should be in the WIP because it is animation instead of drawing, or because I should do more with this? You can move it if you like, but the few WIP threads I've made just die there

Great job, Pixel!

I love fast, loose work like this. I've also been enjoying the way your style/work has been evolving over the past year. Quite inspiring.

Ah, you all are trying to kill me with kindness, eh?
NOOB!, I had not seen the shakey stickman stuff on awn. Really, I thought I was being clever and quite original. Oh well! My mistake on the thread placement; I thought that the WIP section was for stuff soon to be in the Theatre section, though I see now it is supposed to include all animation stuff. It really dosent matter if you want to move this, I usually go straight for the 'New Post' at the top to see what I've missed! (I'm hoping all of this response is due to the cool stickguy animation...)

Cloud, you are too kind and I have really been schooled a lot by your walkcycle and Art thread. Thanks!

ElusiveMoose, man what can I say? You are living the dream, my friend, and if I can inspire you I have really achieved something great.

Stay tuned, more animations to come!

I really like it.
And that was Pascal who did the stick man thing on awn. I think he posted here a time or two as well.

haha this is fantastic! For some reason, it reminds me of spongebob. Maybe because of the bubbles Bravo!

Default Clickables

well.... it does have a Spongebob randomness to it.
THANK YOU, Myshkin! wow, Pascal is my new hero! I like the chair dancing one. That is what I am hoping for, though it might not be as good as all that.

Here are some characters. I used the flash button features to imply animation..? Rollover and click!

I really dont care for how it looks, but the mermaid part seemed nice...
