Default Nak's Gallery

Okay guys, so here's some of my art work. Comments & Critiques are more than welcome...Oh, and by the way most of my stuff is left unfinished so...yeah.

Wacky mouse: Done 3 or 4 years ago, but I think it's still worth showing.

Jedi Master: Created my own jedi, inspired by the Clone Wars animated series.

Space Ship: Just a space ship that I did for a flash animation I wanted to make.

Ford Mustang Scene: Again, it's just something that I did for a flash animation.

You can watch the animated scene here:LINK

Mouse: Hand drawn, scanned. Lines and colors done in Illustrator and imported into Flash

Cat: ...Yeah, I know. The shadows are messed up.

Alfa Romeo

Tavern...eee-yeah...

Tauren: Inspired by the World Of Warcraft game.

Psycho Squirrel

Flash Astronaut: ...Done for a flash animation. Never got to doing his back view. Anyways here he is...front and side.

Random Stuff

Evil and Vulgar Duck: Well, I did some thinking whether I should post this...but here it is.

Weird Guy

Predator: I'm a big fan of the classical Predator movies...so I HAD to do a predator drawing.

Tablet Devil

Kitty Cat

Alien

Dinosaur

...So I guess that's pretty much it. Like I said, comments and critiques are more than welcome.

Hey Nak, relly nice sketches, like a lot. The mouse and the cat with the fish are relly cool., and you have a great touch for cartoon cars

My only comment is perhaps you need to work a bit on gestures and action poses for your characters and sketches ( like the cat on your random stuff image) Again, good works

There are a load of different styles you've got going, but pretty good stuff. I like the way you take your sketch and clean it up for animation.

Thanks for your comments guys. I really appreciate it.

@ Ferx - Hey, glad you like them. Come to think of it, they are pretty static and unnatural in their posses...not very expressive I'm afraid. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll keep it in mind.

@ Black Spot - That's weird...I always thought I had no style. The whole process of transfering the hand drawn piece into your computer and take it to another level from there is really fun.

A great way to take insperation and a good way to learn a lot on the gesture and poses issue is studing comic books

Here are some earlier anatomy "studies" of the leg and arm...The pelvis is a little small, but I was too lazy to fix it. I spent quite some time drawing the leg with my tablet that I just got tired of it. Anyways here they are...just thought I should post them too.

Done with a...ah...I believe it was an HB Pencil

...and this one with a tablet.

Hi Naks,
I'm glad to see you re-registered, sorry about that problem. Sketches are looking good. Practice makes perfect man, keep rocking these out.

Currently I'm trying to study anatomy, so here are some of my attempts of the skull.

I love these anatomical studies. You really know how to draw solidly, and it lets you build your anatomical studies in an intuitive and natural manner. (the structure of those skulls are especially beautiful)

Nice sketches and studies Naks
The "parietal hole"- the left and right side bones of the skull ( I dont know the english name for that bone ) is a bit biger in your draws in relation with a real human skull, but I liked , only a comment.

@VPcomics - Thanks for your positive comment VP!

@Evil Demon Creature - Very informative comment, thank you!

@Ferx - I'm not really sure which bone you mean. If you can make the correction over my sketches that would be great! (Just to be clear about it) As I said before Critique is greatly encouraged. If something is not right - it's not right...what can I say. Mostly I'm trying to draw these as fast as I can, so that I can be as much as productive as possible. I don't know if that's any good when you're learning new stuff though. If you spot something else that's wrong, please make a comment about it. I'll be more than happy to listen to your advise.

Some stuff is very nice. Especially these last anatomy studies. In fact you inspired me to do some myself.

Keep us posted with more.

I like the leg - it looks ready to be animated. Sorry, but it sort of reminded me, in a round-a-bout way of the Dudley & Cook sketch and you made me go and find it.
